Anti-inflammatory food eating is a good healthy strategy that helps protect against common long-term chronic diseases that can develop and short-term inflammation signs, like eczema flareups.
You can enjoy a variety of healthy, whole, and minimally processed foods that the body loves, as food-as-medicine.
Like a white fish 3-Sisters taco complete protein meal with a beans, squash, and corn trio.
Or an eat-from-the-rainbow Greek yogurt grit pie.
Or a dish coming from a food-as-medicine kitchen cabinet that’s also Ayurvedic body balancing.
And if the ingredient tastes from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with simple anti-inflammatory, healthy whole food ingredient alternates had a mashup baked in, that would describe my tastes. 😊
Where baking low-sugar, no frying, and mostly healthy fats is my preferred way.

The anti-inflammatory recipes below are inspired by those type of bake challenges EXCEPT… well, most actually are just a few step instructions (that are simple and sometimes one-bowl easy!).
They’re not as technical, challenging, or buttery. But all so tasty… pairing delicious and optimizing healthy food pairings..
With whole, anti-inflammatory food as the simple focus.
LIFE can be complex enough, and daily FOOD doesn’t have to be… to be GOOD for you and good tasting. 😋
There’s a time and place for everything in life’s balance.
And you may have read on my blog (this website) about my tougher humble work beginnings that started around richer tasting dishes in hotel catering management… that was anti anti-inflammatory (where two anti‘s cancel each other out). They were indulgent dishes and desserts.
But gradually that became freshly made foods planning parties in Mediterranean cuisine restaurants, bringing me back to my more Mediterranean diet healthy roots as a type of anti-inflammatory diet.
…Up until 2020, when we were all cooped up learning new habits. That’s when I saw outward signs of inflammation on me (that later landed me in the emergency room), and when I started making anti-inflammatory home meals every day. The grocery store is my happy place!
And those daily habits set me up for a healthy diet plan and healthy inflammatory-free living.
…And can be a lasting plan for you to live by too whether for longevity, weight loss, or more energy reasons! All of these are healthier ways.
So I thought it would be fitting to share what anti-inflammatory healthy, foodie tasty, and easy meals I’m making and putting in my body.
That can be as easy and simple as a bowl of anti-inflammatory turmeric soup that you can feel daily (like I do)! Or a detoxing black beans coffee smoothie.
Oh, and how you can start your day by adding a variety of plant-based foods to your breakfast, oolong all day (green tea alternative), and end light with a coconut water mocktail or guava spritzer. 🧉 With glasses of fresh water in between.
And then switch it up daily, adding pantry and seasonal (fresh that you can freeze), and anti-inflammatory variety ingredients you can turn into delicious, healthy beverages and smoothies.
…Or even add a twist with FUN anti-inflammatory food color ingredients that no-waste help the environment, like a blue matcha glacier layered-drink.
The healthy and tasty possibilities are endless! And as newly discovered natural and healthy foods are being introduced in our specific parts of the world daily to help our sustainability.
