Light summer desserts help to lose weight AND stay happy especially if you’re the sweet tooth kind… where once upon-a-younger time we could getaway with eating gobs of desserts and candy. Sweets put a smile on our faces and we can still get the same happy feelings with lighter sweet bites.
Because in warm and summer seasons, we want to get into our bathing suits and slimming clothing but still enjoy our desserts.
…I know because I love a daily light summer dessert wherever I am (and any time of year)!
…And so the recipes below can be made at home (or in your short-term rental kitchen). They’re modified ingredient happy desserts I grew up with are how I stay the same size I was decades earlier.
Low-sugar and healthy-light… what could be a better duo? 💭… maybe some tasty flavor pairings from abundant whole and healthy foods. Schweeet!…that’s what I’m talkin’ about!

…Or adventure to make an exotic mango lassi smoothie… or a cool and calming orange dream smoothie (like the childhood popsicle favorite from the ice cream truck minus all the sugar calories).. and maybe, some fruit shakes on-the-go to take on your roadtrips like I do on my hikes when I almost always end up dreaming 💭 of a strawberry milkshake. 🍓
