Easy, Healthy Chocolate Banana Bread (Cake)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed bananas (225 grams)
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil (73 grams)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (59 mL)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-1/3 cups flour of choice (168 grams)
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder (40 grams)

Instructions

  • Combine wet ingredients with dry ones. Mix well.
  • Prepare baking pan with baking spray or light oil to prevent sticking.
  • Bake in 325 F˚/ 170 C˚oven for 65-80 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
