Chocolate Almond Hearts

- 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
- 1 egg, room temperature
- 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup substitute)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 cups almond flour
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (use 70% or higher dark cocoa for added antioxidants and nutrients)
- 1/2 tsp salt
Mix dry and wet ingredients together.
Refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
Roll out cookie dough. Add bench flour as needed.
Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes.
Let cool and then dip in melted chocolate. Refrigerate.
